The Senior Director, Global FP&A will lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and long-term financial planning for the NTT Global Data Centers organization. This role will have key cross collaborative work with the Global CFO, Global Function Heads and Regional Management. This role is instrumental in the organizations accelerated growth to manage financial risks & opportunities to ensure financial targets are achieved and improved.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish & oversee global budgeting & forecasting processes for Global Data Center organization ensuring consistent methodologies and management defined judgements. Global FP&A team will produce a full annual budget and 10 year mid term plan including sales bookings & revenue plan, headcount, operational expenses, and capital expenditures required to deliver new site roadmap

  • Engage with department heads to ensure proper budget inputs and align department KPIs with annual budget

  • Establish and maintain rhythm of business routine for budget and rolling monthly forecast management reporting

  • Present annual budget summary, monthly forecast and risks & opportunities to executive management

  • Create power BI dashboards for management reporting and analytics

  • Actively manage financial risks and opportunities on a monthly basis in collaboration with other departments to ensure we meet annual budget

  • Manage and develop FP&A staff to create best of class FP&A support

  • Establish robust analytic metrics across regions enabling management to improve financial results globally

  • Manage profitability globally, by region and individual building

  • Engage with parent entity for annual budget and monthly forecast reporting and annual budget guidance

  • Create and maintain budgeting and forecasting policy and process documentation

  • Identify and implement system requirements to enable best practice FPA

  • Standardize budgeting methodology and judgments across global organization

  • Perform Gross Margin, EBITDA and Operating Income analysis across regions and competitors, identifying opportunities for improvements

  • Perform ad hoc financial analytics and special projects

  • Robust management of annual Capital Expenditure forecast to enable organization growth

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong Knowledge of IFRS

  • Ability to communicate complex Financial/Accounting terminology to non-financial personnel

  • Ability to work with different groups and levels across the company to bring consensus

  • Ability to prepare executive level power point presentations

  • Proficient with computers to include the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Word, Power Point and Outlook.

  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel required.

  • Manages stress and/or fast-pace effectively.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluent in English language, written and oral

  • Ability to work across different cultures, languages and time zones

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 10+ years FP&A and 5+ years management experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Remain stationary for long periods of time

  • Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment

WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • 20-40% travel required, including international travel

  • Outside of US business hours will be required to accommodate international time zones

  • Remote work majority of the time; provide adequate at home work environment

This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $ 188,000 - $ 277,800.

All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
