HNTB Senior Digital Media Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia

This opportunity entails being responsible for participating in the creation of digital content (organic and paid) that is distributed and/or placed on external digital sites and social media platforms. Involved in multiple parts of content creation, from ideation, platform identification, content development, execution, and optimization. This position performs analysis and gathers insights related to the performance of external content against key performance indicators and collaborates with internal teams, external teams, including clients, and management to communicate effectiveness and to optimize output and experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Produces and reviews content in line with the content strategy.

  • Develops and maintains a digital media presence across all channels to drive engagement, follow growth, brand loyalty, and increase brand awareness

  • Works with clients and internal teams on the creation and execution of content to support key messaging.

  • Collaborates with a team of external content contributors and distributors to enable us to increase our content output and reach

  • Analyzes the effectiveness of our content, social and SEO programs and optimizes resources against objectives and budget

  • Produces, edits or oversees copy, original content articles, advertising, printed collateral in written or video format. Responsible for planning and production processes to ensure quality content, on time, and on budget.

  • Works with influencers and content creators to execute content on behalf of the client across external channels

  • Curates sharable and user-generated content and determines best suited platform for content.

  • Tracks and evaluates social analytics and metrics against KPIs and weekly report and insights. Trends data and provides summaries to leadership on effectiveness.

  • Collaborates with clients and internal teams to optimize user experience

  • Identifies trends and insights to optimize user experience, budget, and performance

  • Manages email marketing platforms and distribution lists. Works with internal teams on creating content.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

  • Associates’ degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or relevant field and 6 years of relevant experience, or

  • In lieu of education 8 years of relevant experience

What You'll Bring:

  • Intimate knowledge of various digital media platforms and requirements (Instagram, Facebook/Meta, X, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Business manager, etc.), along with new and emerging platforms.

  • Setting digital media strategies, developing meaningful content, and executing campaigns (organic and paid), as well as tracking performance and optimizing (if needed), analyzing data, and measuring effectiveness.

  • Strong understanding of paid digital media and ad buy strategies and tactics and ability to manager budget to reach target audiences for paid ad campaign implementation for a variety of channels such as social media platforms, Google, YouTube, OOH, music streaming, etc.

  • Understanding of email marketing platforms, such as MailChimp and Constant Contact, and best practices to reach marketing goals.

  • Strong understanding of analytics and ability to prepare reports to illustrate social media and digital campaign success, which may include impressions, reach, engagements, link clicks, click-through-rate, cost-per-click, demographics, etc.

  • Assessing, guiding, and refining reporting analytics and trends.

  • Photography and video capturing skills for social media channels.

  • Ability to develop materials and documents using Adobe products (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, etc.) and Microsoft products (e.g., Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

  • Capable to give clear direction about complex visuals (graphics, animations, effects, videos) to graphic designers and multimedia specialists on the team.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and analytical skills.

  • Excellent presentation skills and previous experience interacting with clients.

What We Prefer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
