Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Cyber Range Architect to join our team! In this role you will lead all systems integration work, system management and configuration, operation, testing, and scheduling of the CTEP platform.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Create, maintain and update event network designs, integrate hardware and software, determine baseline configurations for training classes and cyber exercises,

  • Assist with Information Assurance (IA) requirements.

  • Develop and implement range reset procedures.

  • Assist with the development of training scenarios to meet the needs of the partners utilizing the CTEP platform.

  • Maintain and update local design documents and configurations as well as work with other personnel on the evolution of CTEP capabilities.

  • Additional responsibilities shall include but are not limited to conducting training on CTEP usage and configuration and assisting with the implementation of training, exercise, and event virtual enclaves.

  • The Lead Range Cyber Architect will have full ownership of the technical operations of the CTEP environment and will manage multiple related projects to ensure the overall technical program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • The Lead Cyber Range Architect shall posess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience as Cyber SME/Cyber Architect position or similar experience with minimum 3 years of experience in the configuration and operation of cyber range or computer test bed environments.

  • Must have a current/active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibiity.

  • This employee shall meet DOD 8570.01-M IAT III Certification requirements.

  • Expert knowledge in designing and configuring computer networks including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, active directory, VPNs, VLANs, SANs utilizing bare metal and virtualized systems.

  • Experience with automation, provisioning, imaging, orchestration, and configuration management. Experience with Ansible, Chef, FOG, Project, python, and bash scripting.

  • Experience with Cloud, physical, and virtual network architect, engineering, and infrastructure monitoring.

  • Demonstrated expertise with hypervisors such as VMware, KVM, and Xen.

  • Experience with Windows enterprise and Linux server / operating systems engineering, and administration with knowledge of network vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation.

  • Experience with wide variety of technology to include camera systems, ICS/SCADA, IoT, and RF devices.
