ActioNet, Inc Web Developer (Journeyman) in Daegu, South Korea

ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Web Developer (Journeyman) requiring a Secret clearance located in South Korea. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense. In this role, you will be responsible for: Design, create, and modify Web sites. Analyze user needs to implement Web site content, graphics, performance, and capacity. May integrate Web sites with other computer applications. May convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible Web formats by using software designed to facilitate the creation of Web and multimedia content.

JOURNEYMAN: Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Minimum requirements:

DoD Secret Clearance; Minimum Background Investigation of NACLC/Level T3

IT Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M/DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification. One of the following: MS Specialist Certification in Visual Studio, Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 (MS Exam 70-480), or programming in C# (MS Exam 70-483).

Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or closely related field. Bachelor Degree can be waived with four (4) continuous years performing Custom Applications/Coding tasks

Experience: Two (2) of the last four (4) years performing Custom Applications/Coding tasks. The Contractor shall in-depth knowledge of coding the front-end of current SharePoint 2010 and 2013 platforms and future SharePoint platforms. Written application code in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3, JQuery, XML or C#.

Job Description

Design, develop, pilot, and implement highly scalable SharePoint automation solutions and creation of enterprise content on the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) SharePoint Portals (NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CENTRIXS-K). Include content design, creation and user support to end-users; employs out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities in MS InfoPath, MS Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, and related tools within the web application framework to automate critical business and information processes using forms, workflows, dashboards, search, taxonomies, and other front-end mechanisms to simplify data entry, validation, storage, retrieval and reporting.

Create re-usable solutions available to support collaboration efforts across all networks (NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CENTRIXS-K); to include developing custom front-end solutions.

Provide required SharePoint Portal support necessary to ensure optimal operation of Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal (MOSS) on all three networks (NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CENTRIXS-K). This support includes, but is not limited to, administration, integration, and troubleshooting all aspects of the MOSS portal and associated software applications and services. The Contractor shall possess the knowledge to install additional enhancement features to the SharePoint Portals such as advanced web parts, build templates, write stored procedures, perform basic database maintenance, and deploy features.

Provide knowledge management plans, policy, and governance. Contractor supports the Government in KM planning, developing theater policy, and governing the administration of KM. Perform routine operations and maintenance on current SharePoint site collections and any future versions of SharePoint. Perform administrative activities such as modification and maintenance of enterprise content, permissions maintenance, user/content manager training, and content troubleshooting. Manage the content management framework that incorporates automated templates, allow scalable expansion, document management, and workflow management.
