Description

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the media industry, based in Fort Myers, Florida. The role will involve managing billing systems, generating invoices, and maintaining accounts receivable records. It offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the maintenance of the billing system to ensure smooth operations

• Generate invoices and account statements in a timely and accurate manner

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of records

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date accounts receivable files and records

• Produce monthly financial and management reports to aid in decision making

• Utilize your skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) to streamline processes

• Prioritize tasks and manage expectations to meet deadlines

• Work independently while maintaining open communication with the team

• Utilize keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks

• Communicate effectively with other members of the company to resolve any issues.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and developments.
