About This Job
Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for a System Administrator. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for the maintenance and support services to users of various systems. The duties include building and maintenance of GPO's and other tasks related to AD. Responsible for maintenance of ACAS and EPO servers
Responsible for creating packages/scripts and deploying with MECM
Assist in training for all departments for overlap support and any cross-department end-user training
Assist in performing root cause analysis and resolve faults and errors in systems
Assist in developing recommendations for enhancing approaches for software support services
Ensure adherence to IT infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures
Update works instruction documentation and standard operating procedures
Collaborate with vendors in the research, development, and implementation of various technologies
Troubleshoot and resolve daily support tickets including end-user support via phone, email, and remote control
Ensure assigned operating systems and applications are compliant with all applicable Department of Defense (DoD) directives and guidelines, including Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) bulletins

Certification Requirement
The applicant must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification requirements on hire date.
Clearance Requirement
This position requires an active final Secret clearance upon hire date. The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. An active Top Secret clearance is preferred.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Education and Experience Requirements are as follows:
HS diploma and 7 years of related experience, or
BS/BA and 3 years of related experience, or
MA/MS and 2 years of related experience
Experience with installing, managing and supporting enterprise applications like:
- ACAS- ePO- Microsoft Active Directory- HBSS
Assisting with maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting Windows and RHEL environments
Assisting with maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
Assisting with the administration of various internal & external IT systems, including:- Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, VPN, MECM, etc.- Windows Server: 2016, 2019- Virtual Desktops: VMware vSphere, VDI, AWS Desktops
Experience with resolving faults and errors in applications.
Communicate effectively with internal and external resources necessary to successfully complete assignments or projects.
Proactively managing and prioritizing multiple related projects, assignments, timelines, milestones, and follow-up communications
Experience with DISA STIG checklists to assess and document compliance.
Hands-on experience with AWS supporting large-scale deployments as an administrator.
Experience with migrating and/or extending on-premises software to the cloud.
Use of scripting to automate administrative tasks using PowerShell or AWS Console.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $61830 - $105120
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
