• Master of Sciences in environmental sciences, specialization in climate accounting, monitoring, modelling.

• 5-10 years of experience in expert’s related roles in climate consulting, auditing and implementing.

• Compensation a fixed salary on a 13-month basis , an annual bonus, profit-sharing and participation in the company's results as well as many benefits

Position summary:

As Global MRV Lead you steer the monitoring, reporting and verification of climate actions with a deep focus on agriculture.

Your dreams are made of FLAG,GHGP,SBTi,IPCC etc. Carbon accounting is your breakfast, creating guidelines, templates and monitoring tools is your lunch, and enjoying the steering of the company for the verification of climate action’s impact is your afternoon. You close your day in looking back at the one step change management achieved during that day.

Your closest buddies are the Global Climate Modelling Lead and Global Net Zero for Nature Lead but you enjoy the connection with actions on ground through the sustainable sourcing and procurements. Your brain is constantly clarifying the climate mitigation process, your hands are into the numbers and on the ground projects.

A day in the life of a MRV Lead:

• Contribute to climate strategies in mapping climate actions in needs of what level of MRV

• Strengthen carbon accounting & reporting capabilities, to steer decision making

• Create tools, processes, standards, guidances for MRV and create or select verification schemes and partners. Large focus on scope 3 including methane and in the future biodiversity related co-benefits.

What will make you successful:

• Post graduated in environmental sciences, you are an expert with a savvy dose of pragmatism and operational reality.

• You been doing, advising, auditing climate related duties.

• You are a doer

• You know what a farmer is

• English: fluent
