Randstad is seeking an experienced Machine Operator Shift Leader. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' previous experience in a similar environment. salary: $18 - $21.5 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 5:45 AM - 3 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

1. Be thoroughly proficient in all Process/Assembly Operator duties and responsibilities.

2. Checks and arranges for availability of materials, tools, and fixtures.

3. Sets and adjusts machines as required for proper operation.

4. Assigns work following established practices and instructs operators on proper operation, safe

practice, and good housekeeping.

5. Prepares all required production and quality reports daily and communicates process problems

to supervisor immediately.

6. Performs any variety of operations within group to maintain flow and meet production

schedules.

7. Trains assembly operators on all operations within work area.

8. Leads team activities toward achievement of current production and quality goals and identifies

and implements improvements in the work area.

9. Assists in maintaining the standards necessary to meet a professional and organized cell

environment.

10. Conducts cell audits on a continuing basis.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working weekends
