The Signal and ITS Field Applications Engineer must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for traffic safety and efficiency applications. The right candidate will leverage their knowledge of available technologies to best meet the customer\'s needs throughout the evaluation and installation process. This position reports to the Signal and ITS Solutions Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Preparing estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents, consulting with sales and purchasing to determine those components required to meet a client\'s specifications. Lead customer presentations and meetings to help drive sales by communicating technical information, features, and benefits of TAPCO systems. Travel to project locations to perform site surveys or work with field service to perform as necessary. Maintains expert level of product knowledge and participates in industry training and certifications to stay abreast of emerging technology and product capabilities (may require overnight travel). Required Qualifications and KSA Minimum of 3 years prior experience in technical sales, service, or engineering role Strong Microsoft Office skills: MS Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook.
