Job Overview:

Will assist the supervisor in the day to day operation of the department, manage the Quality Control Program, and function as a clinical instructor to the student technologists.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Baccalaureate degree with emphasis in the sciences.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology.

• Must possess a current NJ State license.

• CPR certification via American Heart Association or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Preferred:

• 3-5 years of hospital experience as a staff technologist preferred.

Essential Functions:

• Fulfills all the requirements of a Staff Technologist

• Liaison between radiologists, clinical staff and management

• Keeps up to date with established departmental policies and procedures including informing the staff in your modality

• Assist in obtaining ACR certification for Ultrasound

• Participates in quality assurance activities completing all required documentation for the continuous improvement of patient care

• Assists with the maintenance of supplies and equipment

• Responsible for all quality control testing

• Provides feedback to management and may be required to complete employee performance evaluations,

• Performs additional duties as required
