PruittHealth Vice President of Sales and Business Development in NORCROSS, Georgia

JOB PURPOSE:

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Vice President (VP) of Sales and Business Development within our Home Health, Hospice and Skilled Nursing facilities. We are looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial sales leader who has the ambition to dramatically grow our organization. The ideal candidate is a creative, consultative sales professional with a proven track record of building high performance teams, cultivating top talent, and building effective relationships with the community.

As the sales leader for PruittHealth you will develop and execute the overall sales strategy and mentor our team of Regional Admissions Directors (RADs) and Executives. The VP reports to the Chief Operating Officer of Care Integration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Align sales objectives with overall company strategy through active participation in sales strategy development, sales resource planning and budgeting.

• Accountable for sales growth and profitable achievement of sales organization goals for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.

• Provide leadership to sales, marketing and business development teams, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance and ethical behavior.

• Develop new market opportunities in post acute care sales.

• Drive change and collaborate with operations and clinical teams.

• Collaborate and communicate at all levels of the organization to meet business goals.

• Assist post acute care in census goals through effective community relations efforts.

• Identify programs and systems that promote awareness of PruittHealth and its brands.

• Serve as a liaison between the senior leadership and the community relations team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Proven leadership skills as a senior business development executive.

• Demonstrated track record of building positive community relations with extensive experience coaching, mentoring, managing and inspiring sales teams.

• Leadership strengths – history of leading by example.

• Goal and results oriented with history of accountability for producing results.

• Strong self-management ability, a self-starter.

• Optimistic, enthusiastic, self-confident, authentic and motivational.

• Excellent communication skills (written and oral communication skills).

• Financial analysis, strategic planning and budgeting knowledge.

• Organized and good at time management. The ability to record and analyze data and be able to use internal computer systems effectively.

• Respect for human dignity and patient’s rights.

• Knowledge of State and Federal Regulations for Home Health, Hospice and Home First preferred.

• Demonstrates ability to deal with professionals and community.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s Degree required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Ten (10) years of progressive experience in health care sales with an emphasis on achieving growth and profitability objectives and five (5) years management experience, preferably at director level.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)

• Master’s Degree preferred

• Service Industry sales experience as demonstrated by a track record of achieving sales growth and profitability objectives

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance

• Proficiency with Home Care Home Base, Matrix Care, Peoplesoft and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) software

• Strong presentation skills with experience presenting to Executive Leadership Teams, health care executives, and partners
