To be | | | successful in this role, you | | | should have excellent | | | troubleshooting skills and | | | hands-on experience with various | | | database platforms and operating | | | systems. Activities include but | | | are not limited to the | | | following: | | | | | | • Develops, implements, | | | administers, and maintains | | | policies and procedures ensuring | | | the security and integrity of the | | | UETN's databases. | | | • Implements data models, | | | database designs, data access, | | | and table maintenance. | | | • Resolves database performance, | | | capacity, replication, and other | | | distributed data issues. | | | • Works with the applications t | | | eam to design database objects | | | that meet business requirements | | | and production standards. This | | | requires obtaining application | | | knowledge while working with | | | architects, data modelers, and | | | application developers. | | | • Ensures the performance of the | | | databases and application code | | | from development to production. | | | • Installs and migrates object | | | changes through multiple test | | | environments and production. | |
