ActioNet, Inc Senior Database Architect in Vienna, Virginia

ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Database Architect requiring a Secret Clearance located in Vienna, VA. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense. In this role, you will be responsible for developing enterprise database systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations, programming, and security.

  • Design and construct large relational databases.

  • Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of software application development.

  • Establishes a close working relationship with client management and the ActioNet Project manager to ensure that the contract accomplishes its objectives.

  • Responsible for designing, maintaining, and directing implementation of Solutions To Complex Problems Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including the design, development, integration, testing, and implementation phases.

  • Works Closely With The Information Technologists To Identify The Best Technological Solution To Technical Issues.

  • Interacts with management and contract officers to ensure services/products delivered are deemed technologically sound and of high quality.

  • Ensures documents follow standards and guidelines. Perform quality assurance and technical review activities.

  • Uses configuration management to maintain version control.

  • Review and approve timesheets in a reasonable timeframe.

  • Provide all required oversight documents to the Project Manager as requested under the contract.

  • Provide technical reviews and meeting minutes.

  • Provide the staff with directions and help them with their goals and objectives.

  • Provide the team of developers the proper guidance and support necessary to achieve all goals set by the team and the client.

  • Responsible for setting the standard, methodology and planning as a prerequisite to migrations.

  • Identify inefficiency in the ER models and provide recommendation for future product enhancements.

  • Interacts with management and contract officers to ensure services/products delivered are deemed technologically sound and of high quality.

  • Provide cutting edge automation methodology.

  • Active Secret Clearance
