DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and test batteries and battery management systems for the Axiom Space Station

• Responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing BMS control algorithm

• Work with cross-functional teams and lead the development of software requirements for new BMS features, diagnostics, algorithms, etc

• Printed circuit board design and system level battery module design

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Support design reviews of battery system as well as other spacecraft systems.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or related field

• 10+ years’ experience power system electronics design (preferably battery experience)

• Experience with solar powered systems a plus

• Experience with printed circuit board design

Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
